For Alzheimer's caregivers: The Alzheimer's Association will host a speaker's series for caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's on March 2 at 7 p.m. at Countryside Plaza, 37500 Harvest Drive. Dr. Matthew Wayne, geriatrician at Renaissance Health Center, will present ''Overview of Dementia and Available Treatments.'' This series is open to caregivers who care for someone with memory loss and who are interested in attending a monthly support group meeting at the Alzheimer's Association's Avon office.
